Tears, Stones and Daisies

Tears, Stones and Daisies

Once upon a time I had fallen into a deep sleep and it was revealed to me by Love that my tears had become like stones.

Then in a dream, I had been ill for a very long time and was waiting for a doctor. While I was waiting, an old wise one came into the room.  He was tall with the appearance of strength and inner knowing and dressed in white leather garments.  I watched him.  He came by my bedside and set up a small easel next to me. With stones in his hand he began to draw the stones into daisies.  I said to him in surprise, “You draw like I draw!” With a long loving gaze into my eyes, he nodded his head. My soul knew that he had come as a messenger from heaven to call me back into my creative life. This would be medicine that only God can give. I never learned his name but his essence has endured a life time.

Over the years I have turned many stones over in the riverbeds of my heart and this message comes to me again and again.  Transformation awaits on the underside of tear stones. What feels hardened and numb, when turned by Divine Love, is transformed into life that gives life.

“Do not let your hearts grow numb.  Stay alert.  It’s your soul that matters.” Words said so well by Albert Schweitzer

Dreams, they reveal such truth through such strange things to my cultured mind.

For me transformation unfolds in the creative flow.

I wonder how transformation unfolds for you?
